Having begun in 1998 (as the St Mary's Bay Camera Club) the Romney Marsh Photographic Club meets each Thursday at 7.45pm from October to May in the Village Hall at St. Mary’s Bay, Romney Marsh, Kent. The club welcomes beginners and enthusiasts of all abilities... and if you do smartphone photography that’s fine too, since the principles are the same.

 

Our members are knowledgeable on technical matters but the club also gives guidance on the visual awareness necessary to go beyond ‘happy holiday snaps’. There is a programme of digital and print competitions, as well as discussions on photo editing and presentation (galleries or social media).
